About us

We are a group of residents of Verwood & Three Legged Cross, one of whom is a Town Councillor.

We are funded by the Verwood Town Council and Dorset County Council to consult with as many people in Verwood & Three Legged Cross as possible and then produce a Town Plan which documents our aspirations for our community and includes an action list which will help us to achieve them. We give our time and effort voluntarily; the funding is to cover costs such as printing, postage and the organization of events in support of the Town Plan.

We are supported by County, District and Town Councillors, DCC Youth Service, EDDC Policy Planning Department and our local schools to name but a few. Our supporters can help us by providing existing background information is support of our plan and by increasing our network of contacts with local people.
