What is a Town Plan?

The Town Plan will be our view as residents as to how we wish to see our area in the future and a description of what we need to do to get there.

It will only be as good as the input it gets from YOU.

A number of events are being held to raise the profile of the Town Plan, gather views and ideas, before the production of a detailed questionnaire based on initial input from the community and eight theme areas.

The questionnaire will go to every household in 2010 and the results will then be analysed and combined with background information to produce the Town Plan document, which will be published towards the end of next year.

The Town Plan is just the starting block, as projects and actions arising from the plan will develop over time and will help influence the future decision making of service providers and local government for Verwood and Three Legged Cross.
