The following are the areas covered in the Town Plan.

We are looking for volunteers to get involved in each section, so if you are interested in shaping the future of Verwood and Three Legged Cross in one way or another, please get in contact with us.

Community Safety

Tackling crime and personal safety in our homes and on our streets, as well as the community's perception of safety.

Health & Wellbeing

Improving the health of our community through access to health services and by the encouragement of healthier lifestyles, including sport and culture.

Environment

Protecting the local environment, as well contributing to wider environmental needs.

Commerce/Employment

Supporting new and existing commerce and industry in the Town, thereby enhancing local employment opportunities

Children & Young People

Addressing the needs of children and young people by ensuring that they have a voice that is heard and acted upon.

Housing

Ensuring that local housing plans meet the needs and expectations of the local community.

Older People

Addressing the needs of older people by ensuring that they have a voice that is heard and acted upon.

Traffic, Transport & Accessibility

Addressing the transport needs of residents and businesses of the Town through suitable infrastructure (i.e. roads and parking) and with suitable public transport links providing access to employment, services and shops outside of the Town.
